Target Population: Foster youth ages 16 to 21. In addition, the program is designed to allow teen parents to participate.
Brief Description:
The Independent Living Program-Orangewood (ILP) has been rated by the CEBC in the area of Youth Transitioning into Adulthood. ILP, developed by Orangewood Children's Foundation, provides workshops, special events, and support services to foster youth between the ages of 16-21, to help prepare them for emancipation. Each month ILP focuses on one of four key areas: Education, Career, Relationships, and Daily Living.
